Hmmm....how do I look?


Noordmarket and Lijnbaansgracht markets are just a few blocks away from our apartment. Every Saturday hundreds of vendors set up their stands and sell everything from cheeses and baked goods to clothing and shoes.  Great selections of fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood as well.  We bought most of our groceries for the week there- reasonably  priced and very fresh!  The markets have a very festive atmosphere. There are musicians performing and face painting for the kids. It really makes for a fun day.  Going to the market on Saturday has become one of our favorite things.
